The ceramic optics or focus lens are responsible for directing the final laser stream along the axis of the cutting process.

The X/Y motion lifter is the mechanism that allows the cutting head to move along two axes. It consists of servo motors, DC motors, stepper motors, and linear motors with connecting rails and slides.

The cutting head consists of the nozzle and protection window. Its purpose is to direct the high-intensity laser beam towards the focuses lens to the cutting point.

The control system is the “brain” of the entire cutting machine – its job is to manage the position of the cutting path, speed and power settings, and the monitoring of the parameters during the cutting process.

Common Power & Material Types

Fiber laser cutting machines come with different power configurations. Common power types are 1000W, 2000W and 4000W. For materials, aluminum, stainless steel and other metals are quite often cut using these machines.
